Here at Purple Marmalade we believe in only using the best ingredients at the best times, in season and use local produce if available*. We have selected suppliers with care & with years of experience.

Our meat mainly comes from Keith Alderson of Bridgnorth. Keith & his team have an unquestionable reputation for fine meat & are used also by some of Shropshires finest restaurants.

Our fish is delivered next day we order from Grimsby & Fleetwood. We also source from the Welsh Cambrian coast ordering Dovey lobster and a fine array of our little friends of the sea.

We source local fruit and veg & import fine ingredients from Perigore in France. All stocks & sauces are made from scratch by Purple Marmalade with no unnecessary emulsifiers. Absolutely nothing is frozen to be used for the week ahead.

* On occassions frozen ingredients have to be used eg. green lip mussels sourced from New Zealand have to be frozen, however if this is the case we will bring it to your attention.
